Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, has issued a notice to candidates applying for the 2025/2026 academic session, urging them to ensure their O’Level results are correctly uploaded on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) portal.
The university said some results may have dropped from the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS), warning that admissions would not be processed without the required uploads. Candidates were advised to use accredited JAMB CBT centres for the uploads rather than roadside cafés or mobile phones.
ABU announced that its admission exercise is expected to be concluded by October 2025, and advised applicants wishing to change their programmes to do so immediately. It further cautioned candidates with incorrect JAMB subject combinations to switch to available appropriate courses to avoid registration delays.
The institution added that its screening portal will remain open for Direct Entry candidates until the end of the admission exercise.
The management stressed that failure to upload O’Level results would disqualify applicants from consideration. The statement was signed by the university registrar, Rabiu Samaila.
