In a bid to improve its growth and welfare, the Governing Council of Ekiti State Polytechnic, Isan-Ekiti, has requested that the traditional ruler of the town, Oba Gabriel Adejuwon, intervene to resolve issues related to land and house rent.
During a visit to the king’s palace on June 19, 2025, the Council Chairman, Prof. Adedayo Fasakin, stated that the school requires additional land to expand its farming projects and also requested the king’s assistance in reducing the high rent prices charged by landlords. Oba Adejuwon promised to help, stating that he had already begun discussing the matter with the original landowners. He also advised the school to employ more people from the town. The visit was attended by the Polytechnic Rector, Dr Sunday Ajeigbe, and other top officials. The school is preparing to start 19 new NBTE-approved courses as part of its expansion.
