The First Class Muslim (FCM) Foundation has opened applications for its 2025 Foundation Board Scholarship (FCM FBS), a programme designed to support academically outstanding female Muslim undergraduates in Nigeria.
The initiative provides one-time financial aid and an exclusive mentorship session to encourage excellence and career growth. Applications close on September 10, 2025, and are open to students in selected public universities at the 200- and 300-level.
To qualify, applicants must be female Muslim undergraduates with a minimum CGPA of 4.0 on a 5.0 scale and must be available for a mentorship programme in Lagos.
The scholarship covers 14 universities, including the University of Ibadan, Obafemi Awolowo University, Federal University of Technology Akure, and Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, among others.
Required documents include a valid student ID card, recent academic results endorsed by the Head of Department, a reference letter from a reputable Islamic organisation, and a personal statement of 300-400 words.
