The federal government (FG) University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) has given 700 anti-rabies vaccines to the University of Abuja Veterinary Clinic.
Samuel Anzaku, the Chief Veterinary Officer of Nigeria (CVON), announced in Abuja on Friday, October 17, 2025, that a donation was made through the Ministry of Livestock Development.
Anzaku mentioned that the donation shows the ministry’s dedication to disease prevention, innovation, and research.
Appreciating the ministry, Matthew Adamu, the Acting Vice-Chancellor (VC), stated that the vaccines will be well used.
The Vice-Chancellor mentioned that it is essential for the government and academia to collaborate in livestock development, calling for the establishment of prototype ranches.
