A student of the Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE), Deborah Tosin Fawole, has been named Best Adjudicator in the Novice Category of the All-Nigeria Universities Debating Championship (ANUDC).
Fawole, a 400-level student in the Department of Finance, emerged as the winner ahead of participants from 28 universities across the South-West. The university described her success as a notable achievement for both the student and the institution.
Now in its 12th edition, the ANUDC is one of Nigeria’s largest inter-university debate competitions, bringing together undergraduates from federal, state and private universities. It provides a platform for students to develop skills in debate, public speaking and critical thinking.
FUOYE said the award underscored the university’s growing reputation in national academic contests and reflected its commitment to nurturing students for leadership roles in society.
