The International Centre for Investigative Reporting (ICIR), supported by the Development Research and Projects Centre (dRPC), through its NGO Support Initiative (NSI), has trained student ambassadors and project support lecturers from Bingham University.
The training focused on empowering female students to confront sexual harassment in Nigerian Universities. While delivering the welcome address at the training, Dayo Aiyetan, the Executive Director of ICIR, expressed appreciation to the University for participating in the training.
Chukwudi Iwuoha, the ICIR Senior Programmes Officer, added that the training was aimed at building a safe campus environment for students, raising awareness, and supporting victims.
