The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that the results of the rescheduled 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will be released on Wednesday, May 21 2025.
JAMB’s Head of Public Affairs, Dr Fabian Benjamin, disclosed this while addressing journalists on the outcome of the rescheduled examinations, which were conducted between Friday and Monday.
The examination was rescheduled for 379,997 candidates in Lagos and the five states of the Southeast following technical glitches experienced during the initial UTME sessions. This was earlier confirmed by the Registrar of JAMB, Professor Ishaq Oloyede.
Dr Benjamin said, “The results of the candidates who took the rescheduled examination will be released on Wednesday.”
Candidates affected by the earlier disruptions have begun sharing their experiences from the rescheduled sessions. Many described the process as smooth and better organised.
One of the candidates, Chioma Marvellous Nnamdi, said the examination was seamless compared to the first attempt.
Others expressed optimism about achieving higher scores, noting that the questions in the rescheduled examination were more straightforward.
