The Chief of Staff to Anambra State Governor, Mr Ernest Ezeajughi, has called on parents to take full advantage of the state’s free education policy to secure a brighter future for their children.
Speaking in Awka, Ezeajughi stressed that Anambra remains the only state offering pure free education, backed by heavy government investment in schools. He noted that 22 smart schools have already been established, equipped with modern learning tools, including computers and digital boards.
He gave the charge while hosting Nwachukwu Victor Ikechukwu, the overall best candidate in Nigeria’s 2024 NECO examinations. Commending the young achiever, he urged other students to strive for excellence and make the most of the opportunities provided.
Ezeajughi also revealed that Governor Chukwuma Soludo would soon launch a bursary scheme to support Ndi Anambra in higher education further, describing the governor’s passion for education as a driving force behind these initiatives.
