The Old Students Association of Federal Government College, Ilorin, has held a Valedictory Assembly in honour of the school’s late pioneer principal, Chief Amos Olaniyan.
In his remarks during the tributes to the deceased, the school’s current Principal, Dr Geoffrey Agbo, said Olaniyan laid a solid foundation for the college.
He added that his name would continue to be written in gold as the excellence he upheld had produced great people in the country.
”Here, we are celebrating a special leader who under him the school thrived because he was an excellent and exquisite leader,” Agbo said.
