The All Progressives Congress, Lagos State chapter, has lauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over his nationwide declaration of free technical education.
The chapter describes it as a “visionary and people-oriented policy” that will equip young Nigerians with practical skills and secure the country’s future.
In a statement issued on Monday by its spokesman, Mogaji (Hon.) Seye Oladejo, the Lagos APC, said the policy removes financial barriers to technical education and provides every student with a ₦22,500 monthly stipend to support their studies.
“By removing financial barriers to technical education, President Tinubu has opened the door for millions of young Nigerians to acquire relevant skills in technology, innovation, and vocational expertise – skills that will drive industrial growth, self-reliance, and economic resilience,” the statement said.
