Royal Sky Media Academy, Ibadan, has concluded plans to hold an orientation programme for its sixth batch of students as the new academic session begins.
In a statement signed by the Dean of Academic Programmes and Planning, Olufemi Timothy Ogunyejo, the institution said the exercise will take place on Friday, September 12, at its campus in the Niger West area of Challenge, Ibadan.
The school’s proprietor, Dr Enitan Olusegun Bamidele, urged students to pursue their goals with determination and described the academy as a platform for nurturing creativity and passion in broadcasting.
He also commended instructors and facilitators for their commitment to training future broadcasters. Among the tutors are Samson Akindele, General Manager of Fresh FM Nigeria, and Wale Rufai, formerly of the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State.
The academy, which specialises in broadcast training, said the orientation marks the formal start of academic activities for its new students.
