Osun State University (UNIOSUN), College of Education, Ipetu-Ijesa Campus, has officially inducted 147 fresh teachers into the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN). The induction ceremony, held at the school’s main campus in Osogbo, focused on the future of teaching in today’s tech-driven world.
The event, themed “Transforming Teaching into Enterprise: The Role of Generative AI,” encouraged new teachers to view artificial intelligence as a tool to enhance classroom learning and make teaching more creative and engaging.
Provost of the College, Professor Florence Adeoti Yusuf, charged the graduates to embrace their calling as nation builders and utilise AI to enhance the effectiveness of their teaching. She described the induction as the start of their journey to shape young minds and contribute to national growth.
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Clement Odunayo Adebooye, represented by his deputy, also restated UNIOSUN’s commitment to innovation and technology-driven education.
