The Lions International, Lagos Akowonjo Lions Club, has renovated a block of classrooms at Shasha Nursery and Primary School, Alimosho Local Government, Lagos.
As a part of its community development initiatives, the club also renovated the office of the headmistress and the school’s security post. Ayo Olugbenro, the president of the club for the 2024/2025 tenure, stated that the renovated classrooms were previously dilapidated and had poor ceilings, but were repaired within two weeks. She urged the school to maintain the classrooms well. Mrs. Mariam Ezuzo appreciated the club and noted that it would improve learning and help decongest the classrooms.
